This is being stagged as one of the boring-est SuperBowls to date by the media....Every players is hush-hush and set to get down to business in 5 days....Even Brett Favre"s retirement is a bigger topic these days than the Bowl itself..
The key to Pgh winning this game is to shut down Alexander and force Hasselback to throw to win...Just like last week when Pgh played a supposedly great Offensive line in Denver...A team who everyone said was going to run Pgh all over the field....It never happened and hasn't happened all year except for the Monday night loss against the Colts.....When Alexander was shut down by a concussion against the Redskins in the first playoff game, the Seahawks offense was nullified and forced their Defense to win the game....Too bad Washington had NO Offense Weapons to win that game...Offensive runningback Portis and QB Rypien limped into that game along with the offensive line.....Also Carolina's injuries caught up to them and it showed....
The Steelers play the exact same defense that the Dallas Cowboys play and they completely shut down Seattle but lost by a field goal 13-10......Pgh's db's are very fast and will easily force the Seahawks into long 3rd downs. DB Ike Taylor held Marvin Harrision and Chad Johnson into the fewest receptions they had all year during these playoffs...... Pgh's offensive is 10 times better than the Cowboys will throw to set up the run....Having watched a lot of NFL teams this year, to me there is no comparison between the AFC and NFC this year...With that in mind I predict the score:
Steelers 35 Seahawks 16
PGH -3.5...-112.......50 tokens
Props ALL for 2 tokens
1) Over 2.5 total turnovers by both teams... -200
2) Big Ben over 225.5 yds. passing....+104
3) Heath Miller over 33.5 yds receiving...-128
4) Miller over 2.5 Receptions....-139
5) Alexander under 87.5 yds rushing....+104
6) Jerome Bettis will score a TD...-162
7) Bettis over 39.5 yds rushing....-127
