That is something you do when you are in JH not division 1 college ball. Really though I think the blame should be on the coach. Why are you manning up with 2 seconds left? They should of had 2 guys at half court and 3 guys around the three point line. You let them catch the ball in the backcourt and make them shoot from long range and if they make it then so be it but you don't overplay and give up a backdoor cut for a 3 pointer. Plus, Wash is like a poor man's NBA team everything is one-on one there are no sets for shots just isolations for Roy mostly. I am going to add Wash to my list of teams to never play again this year but only play against them. Syracuse is also on my list for this year.

Since we are venting I had the under in the Lakers game 41 points in the first quarter somehow are over a 100 by the half low scoring 3rd quarter. 47 points or less and in the money. Don't you know Kobe hits a fade away 3 with a guy in his mugg and then Ben Wallace gets fouled on a rebound puts him on the line for 2. Now let's not forget the guy is like a 40% free throw shooter of course he hits both and the under loses by the hook. Both teams shot a combined over 60 free throws for the game.....brutal.

I'm with you lewis. Both teams combined had to call 3 - 4 timeouts during the last 2.1 seconds and still Wash gets burned on that play. Terrible coaching. I'm not sure what they were talking about during the timeouts.

yeah that was a crazy game the whole way. No reason for that defender to be behind his man in that situation, no reason for him to be within 5 feet from him after the inbound until he got close enough to the 3 point line. Washington deserved to lose after that play.

im in the same boat, i turned off the game thinking it was over and tired of sitting there during countless timeouts and was flipping through the channels like 20 min later and saw it in OT, why in the hell would you get close to that guy, just let him shoot and if he makes it fine but more times than not the shot will miss and game over

but what would have sucked more is if he hit the first 2 free throws and missed the last 2 to loose by 1 and screw us all
