just wandering about *plays

my 1*=$25

people post these 10*, 15* ect. plays, my question is do most of these people actually bet thousands per game? i've been in the gambling industry for many years, not to be nosey but just wandering? i'm a middle class guy and stress and watch my 1 unit plays intensely. I could'nt imagine having a ton of money on games. any thoughts would be appreciated.

i bet you 90% of the people don't bet these plays at all. 50* to me is a waste. just a way to be up a ton of units with a few more wins then losses. you learn quick who is legit and who isn't.

thx tony when i do post i play just been lazy lately----just been following even though i have a winning record. this is not my job just something to pass time. i love to bet cbb, makes me all warm and fuzzy, kinda like my vodka and xanax.

seems like the real winners are the guys who keep their units uniform through the whole season... Homer, RJ, Wayne are some examples... They never press when they are down and never raise their bets when they are up big

My Unit or * plays are for $50.00 for each * if I have a 3* that means i have 150 on the game.. I keep my records in my sig as well..

I bet all the games i post. I bet on a scale, i dont vary. I bet 6 games per day MAX. I wager anywhere from $50 to $500 per game. i'm not a big player, just like to wager and watch sports.

I post and bet all my nba at 1* to 5* with a rare 10*

I only post baseball and football plays as I am no good at basketball - just follow. For me 1* is 1/100 (1%) of my bankroll. The largest I play is a 5* (5% of bankroll) and a VERY rare 7* (7%). I do not play more than 15% of Bankroll in any given day.

I think that how much one bets on a game and what his/her unit rating should depends on these factors and not necessarily in this order:
1) how much money one has and how much he can afford to lose without creating a financial crisis.
2) One's comfort level-I know in my case before I bet a game or games, I see how much is tied up and try to think how I would feel if I LOSE all the games(we all know how we feel if we win all of the games) and then decide based on those feelings if it is appropriate;I want to be able to sleep if I lose.
The corollary of #2 is if that if I am going to be home following the games on the computer(I hardly ever watch basketball games that I bet on), I want to somehow ensure (this is theoretical to an extent as games are mostly unpredictable) ) that I won't become to stressed out by having too many games going on at same time.
3) In my case, with my wife about to arrive in a month, I may have to re-evaluate my criterion (if I gamble at all initially) to ensure that they I am not taking valuable time away from her(I am sure a lot of you married folks can relate to this).
I realize I went off somewhat on a tangent here, but, well, thats me.

I bet between 1 and 5 pounds on games 1 pound is 100 for me and so on.......Not big money but i just like gambling.
