This is one of those times where I appreciate this site and all of your logic. Please tell me why this line is so low and why Indiana (coming off a loss, haven't lost 2 straight all year) will not take care of business and cover this low line?????

Fort Wayne paper has the same report Kline and Davis both saying they were a good team but not a great team as winning on the road is something great teams do.
I think the line is low because it is a road game and IU has not won a Big 10 game on road this year. Thinks you might not know is Killingsworth set much of the last game Vs Iowa because he thought he was a 3 point bomber.....So maybe today he will be movatted to kill under the basket where he belongs.
FACTS & STATS: Site: Williams Arena (14,625) -- Minneapolis, Minnesota. Television: CBS. Home Record: Indiana 7-1, Minnesota 8-4. Away Record: Indiana 3-3, Minnesota 1-4. Neutral Record: Indiana 2-0, Minnesota 0-0. Conference Record: Indiana 4-2, Minnesota 0-6. Series Record: Indiana leads, 85-62.
GAME NOTES: Williams Arena in Minneapolis is the site of today's Big Ten clash between the struggling Minnesota Golden Gophers and the 13th-ranked Indiana Hoosiers. Indiana carried a two-game winning streak into Tuesday's clash with Iowa, but that contest resulted in a rather lopsided 73-60 defeat. The Hoosiers have now been held to 62 or fewer points in three straight outings, so offensive production is clearly an area of concern. They are 3-3 on the road and carry a 4-2 Big Ten record into this afternoon's clash. As for Minnesota, it owns a respectable 9-8 overall record, but that mark is clearly overshadowed by the fact that the team has lost all six of its conference games thus far. On Wednesday, the Golden Gophers were clearly outclassed in a 77-53 setback at Illinois, and considering that the last two losses have come by a total of 40 points there is no reason for optimism today. Indiana holds an 85-62 advantage in the all-time series with Minnesota, and the Hoosiers have won three of the last four meetings.
There are a few obvious reasons that Indiana fell short against Iowa earlier this week. The Hoosiers connected on only 36.7 percent of their field goal attempts in the clash and finished 3-of-8 from the foul line, and embarrassing showing to say the least. They were outscored 23-3 from the charity stripe and permitted Iowa to connect on 51.1 percent of its shots from the floor. Robert Vaden represented the lone bright spot for Indiana, as he tallied 26 points on the strength of his stellar 8-of-12 effort from three-point range. Unfortunately, the rest of the team combined to hit a mere 5-of-19 from behind the arc. Marco Killingsworth, a strong candidate for Big Ten Player of Year, managed just 10 points for Indiana. Killingsworth had led the Hoosiers in scoring in four straight games prior to the Iowa loss, and he is posting 19.4 ppg on 60.4 percent shooting from the field this season to go along with his 7.4 rpg. Vaden adds 14.9 ppg to the mix on 50.6 percent accuracy from three- point range, and he is clearly one of the nation's most dangerous perimeter scorers.
Minnesota connected on only 35.8 percent of its field goal attempts in the ugly loss to Illinois earlier this week. The Gophers also finished with seven assists against 14 turnovers, while the Illini managed 18 assists and only eight giveaways. Maurice Hargrow and Vincent Grier tallied 14 points apiece in defeat, and J'son Stamper contributed 10 points. Grier has only played in 11 of the team's 17 games, and he is averaging a team-high 15.3 ppg to go along with 6.0 rpg. Hargrow is close behind with 15.2 ppg, and Adam Boone is contributing 10.2 ppg in addition to his 79 assists. Minnesota is averaging 68.1 ppg while surrendering 66.2 ppg, but those numbers clearly do not tell the story of the team's struggles since the start of conference play.
