  • Celtics trade Davis to Wolves for Szczerbiak in 7 Player Trade

The Boston Celtics and Minnesota Timberwolves have agreed to a trade that will send Ricky Davis, Mark Blount, Marcus Banks, Justin Reed and two future second-round draft picks to Minnesota for Wally Szczerbiak, Michael Olowokandi and rookie Dwayne Jones, ESPN.com has confirmed.

Davis was the team's second leading scorer at 19.7 behind Paul Pierce, while Szczerbiak is averaging 20.1 points for the Timberwolves.

I think it's good for the Wolves. I'm a wolves fan and they needed to do something to "shake" things up. Davis may be more "trouble" than Wally but what the hell do ya have to lose. Plus you get a couple picks too.

            WHOA!!!!!!

Being from Minnesota that is HUGE news!!!!!!!!! Thanks Wayne!

In my opinion I think this move helps in two ways
            1. Gives them a good TRUE point
            2. KJ will see some life in the future and stick around

just an early thought...... other thoughts??????

Guys, Ricky Davis has been a "Class Act" on and off the court since he came here from Cleveland. He has also played Great this season for us. I really don't like the trade at all and i'm wondering if Ainge is trying to get another Larry Bird type of love in Wally (if you know what i mean).

Ricky isn't a true point at all. He was at shooting gaurd for most of this season.

NE South dakota huh? Wow that kinda sucks. Not that where I live is much better (Northwest MN), you ever come back to these parts?

Wayne, its good to hear Ricky davis has been a class act, I was wondering about that...

Thumbs up wolves, this definitely helps KG's chances of staying

I hear ya Wayne......I think Minny got the better of the deal. When I said "trouble" he's just kindof carried that label and sometimes people don't shake that. Right? It's nice to finally see one of these deals go through.....it seems like they have always had rumors and shit but nothing ever comes through.

Ricky will forever be known for trying to give himself a Triple double at the end of a game in Cleveland by bouncing the ball off the opponents rim.

He has been great with us and i think the heat he took for that made him better. The "Key" is the words Triple Double because that's what Ricky does. Score, rebound, and assist. I know because i drafted him fairly late in the Fantasy league and the guy has been one of the steals of the draft!
