That's not too bad. They charged me $3,000 for 2 tickets in the bleachers for a World Series Game!

Mine were $22 face value regular season tickets to game 6.

$1,500 each. The game never happened as they swept so the ticket agency in Florida (Bestseats.com) refunded my money. I wanted the ticket but never got it because i was suppose to pick it up at a Hotel front desk the day of the game!

I haven't missed a Steeler Super Bowl yet...Against the Rams in 80, I feel asleep in the stands with my body painted Black and Gold from drinking Taquila for 8 hours....And when I woke up the game was over for 2 hours....I had to take a taxi back to the Little Pgh Saloon...I sold cans of Iron City Beer with the Steeler Player on them outside the stadium and stayed in California for a month after that with the $$$ I made..
                  Great Memories

We, as in we fans not a player or management, are going to the Super Bowl.

                      that sentence doesn't make sense.

I'm pretty sure the players are going too. But yes, I will also be there. So "We" (me, the players, the management) will ALL be going to the Super Bowl. Some of us will be playing on the field, some of us will be coaching from the sidelines, and some of us will be in the stands watching.

                      Hope this helps ya!

"We" is the people who either run the team, play for the team, or own the team. You are neither, nor will you ever be.

Are you part of a team because you buy apparel, no. Are you part of Metallica if you buy their apparel and albums, no. You are part of their fan base. Does your money on tickets, jerseys, clothing, etc. contribute to the team, in part, because it helps pay contracts, but do you have say in who plays for the team, no.

"We" in this case refers to fans, and only fans. It does not refer to people who think they have something to do with the team, when in fact they do not.

I hope this cleared up my sentence for your simple mind.
