NO doubt Kobe is a VERY talented player.
I did not see the game, but it appearred to me in the highlights when Kobe had the ball the rest of his team stopped.

I truly feel a gargatuan effort like this hurts a team more then helps...

Let me explain this.
In today's era of egos and money there has to be resentment towards him. Other players are playing for next years contracts, so statistically their offensive stats decline. Why would an owner increase their salaries? What ammunition does a Kobe teammate bring to the table at contract time. Unfortunately it seems (to me) that it is not about winning and losing to many in the NBA, or pro sports in general, anymore.
Also, it's a loooong season can he carry this team all the way?
I don't think so....

He did shoot 61% from the field last night and as a team 50% is great for a game. On most nights i would agree with you but if the guy can attempt 46 shots and hit 61% (28) than you gotta let him keep shooting!

True...He was on fire no doubt from everywhere on the court. Even some of the shots that didnt look like were going in went in. He definitely single handedly took the game over and it was fun to watch. Maybe if it was someone else who had a performance like that I'd be more excited, but I just dont like the guy.

Even the guys giving him congrats at the end were not smiling. It almost looked painful for them to give him his props! Weird .......
