Well, here is info from a guy on the Island and follows Hawaii intimately, so it's good info....FWIW here's how he's done capping Hawaii games...

- Fresno is BANNED from any post season play, including the WAC Tournament. Their whole season is based on pride, and that was certainly acheived 3 days ago. You have to question their motivation after they delivered a crushing loss to Nevada on Wednesday. Now the depleted Fresno team of 7 scholarship players and 2 walk-ons get to celebrate with a trip to Hawaii???
- There is no team Hawaii fans love to hate more than Fresno State. We could be playing them in checkers and the fans would be going nuts. Hawaii's court will be vicious tonight...
- Fresno is a poor shooting team for the year at 40%. However, against Nevada, they had their game of the season going 29/55 (53%). I am will to bet that Fresno shoots way closer to 40% tonight...
- Fresno is a poor road team. They are 2-5 on the road this year, including 4 losses by double digits.
- Huge size mismatch. Fresno starts 4 players UNDER 6ft 6 in. Hawaii starts 4 players OVER 6ft 6 in. Hawaii is a good rebounding team and leads the WAC in blocked shots.....
- Hawaii's Beast Ahmet Gueye (best shot blocker in the WAC, with skills) had a terrible game at New Mexico State. Word is Hawaii HC Wallace was going to take him out of starting job tonite. As of today, Gueye WILL start. Wallace knows how to light a fire under a players ass.....Gueye will dominate tonite.
- Hawaii got healthier. None on the roster that is...However, 2 key redshirt players returned from Christmas break, including a Colorado State transfer. For the last month, Hawaii has been practicing with no subs....word is practices are much livelier and competive with the redshirts return...
