Last night was horrible for CheChe. Good thing my second wife understands my gambling. Sober record now 6-6-1 for a +.2 units. After two weeks and several thousand dollars later I decided I could not afford to stay sober. Below are my bets for tonight and some info on Sunday's NFL.
GL to everyone here at BC. I have enjoyed being a small part of the family.
NBA:
5 X 2 round robin for $100 each. That's ten 2 team parlays.
$200 a piece on the same teams.
Memphis -3-
Milwaukee -2-
Over 201 Orlando
Utah +3-
Dallas -4
Wish I could take credit for these picks but they are not mine. I used the best cappers on this forum and used those.
Here is some info for Sunday: I love Seattle but I'm not sober.
Play against any playoff team that won last week (a playoff game), but allowed 21 or more pts in that win.
This angle is 17-4-1 ats (80.9%) playing
against that team since 1995, including 1-0 last year after indy lost to new england after beating Denver 49-24.....
Play against carolina....
Play against any team that is on the road for at least 3 consecutive weeks.
Record: 23-8 (74%)
If opponent is .800 or better the record moves to 7-1 including a win this weekend with seattle.
Both seattle and denver are .800 or better.
This guy is pretty good 44-26 (6-3 in playoffs):
Let me first say that I can not stand going against either Carolina or The Hags at this point. They both battled extremely hard to get here. Seattle lost their best player in the early going and were still able to hold off the redskins. Carolina has been very good to me this season and proved that they are possibly the best team on paper.
Carolina got very beat up versus Chicago and losing Foster is a killer. I understand how dominant Smith is and it is quite clear no player in this league can cover this guy. I think if Foster was healthy and the defense was not banged up I'd be on Carolina. I look for Seattle to open big holes to get Alexander going early and often. He is thrilled that his team has stayed alive and now he will reward them by carrying them on his back. Hassleback is very heady at QB and with the running game going he will be able to hit the wideouts and the big Tightend as well.
Seattle on defense really impressed me and I think they will really be able to double smith and still stop Goings and whoever else wants to run the ball. If they are able to "slow" Smith with a double team, I dont think Carolina has another answer. This is a very good matchup and is not a big play for me. The line is 3.5 and I bought the hook.
Pittsburgh Vs Denver
Another great matchup. Friends don't let Friends bet against the broncos at mile high. I'm concerned that the Steelers spent every ounce of emotion on sunday and will be a little flat at Denver. I dont personally feel that Denver played that great against the Pats. I think the Steelers are on a magic carpet ride and will be able to move the ball against denver through the air and via the "Bus". My question is what will Denver be able to do? When Pittsburgh smacks them in the mouth, I think plummer and company will not fold like Peyton did. In my opinion the Steelers just have more talent. The offensive line is big and nasty and Big Ben has the same mentality as them. Hines Ward is as good as they come in a big spot and I think the Steelers win a close one. but I will take the points.
Pitt +3.5
Another Guy who is pretty good and was quoted in the Washinton Post last week and is 9-0 in the playoffs has
3 Seattle
2 Pitt first half
