Something has to give in this game. Curt Schilling has been practically untouchable in his last 5 starts. The Padres have not won a baseball game since 5/13/03 against the Marlins a game in which Lawrence starts. Schilling has not been completely dominate against the Padres going just 7-4 in this last 13 starts against the Padres dating back since '97. San Diego starter Brian Lawrence has pitched awful as of late but we feel he is in a prime spot to pitch a solid game against Schilling and keep his team in the game.

The Nets are an even better team then they were a season ago and they will have a chance to sweep the Pistons and advance into the NBA Finals on their home court. New Jersey is 6-1 ATS in conference finals games over the last 2 seasons. New Jersey is also a very profitable 6-2 ATS when leading in a playoff series so far during the 2003 Run. New Jersey has it all going for them right now and they are playing full steam ahead and this is the perfect time for New Jersey to close out the Series and focus on the Big Prize.
