Back to winning on Friday, 3-1 (+8.4 units). Shawn Green came through again against Milwaukee to power us to a 5 STAR winner with the Dodgers. I am only playing one play for Saturday, but this play is very strong and I am posting this early so you guys can get it while the line is still a value. I expect this line to rise so get on it ASAP is you are going to play it!
5 STAR: St. Louis (-$160) @ PITTSBURGH (Matt Morris vs. Jeff Suppan)
Matt Morris is 19-1 when playing against a bad team with a winning percentage of 38% to 46% over the last 3 seasons and he is also 7-1 in road games versus National League teams scoring 4.3 or less runs per game on the season over the last 3 seasons. Morris has also pitched well against the Pirates in the past, in 9 career starts he has an ERA of just 1.97. Also, Pittsburgh is 1-6 in home games versus a starting pitcher whose strikes out 5 or more batters per start this season. The Cardinals should have success against the Pirates starting pitcher Jeff Suppan, over the last three seasons Suppan is 0-7 versus teams averaging 3.5 or more extra base hits per game over the last 3 seasons. This line is cheap with Morris on the mound. The Pirates could not get it done against the Cardinals worst pitcher last night and they won't beat their best pitcher tonight! The Cards get it done here.
