I wouldn't consider myself a "fan" of Nascar but I had Savage's mindset. My father is into it bigtime so I watched a few races with him, but I really didn't care. Now after watching some of the "reality" shows with behind-the-scenes looks at drivers and EVERYTHING involved in a race, I am coming around. It is definitely WAY more then one big left turn!!

FYI,

the drivers arent athletes so dont even try to say that they are. The pit crew, now thats a different story. What they do is impressive and a skill and is athletic. Driving a car round in circles isnt athletic. Its just not. If they were athletes they wouldnt be blaming their car being slow as an excuse for losing.
