          Dunkel Info.

Reply to JMR58 from yesterday, and others new to the Dunkel Index:

The index is kind of like a power rating. It has been around for many years (since 1929!). The differential of ratings determines a point spread.

The first team listed is the top-rated team with the point difference (rounded) in parenthesis. The asterisk (*) indicates the home team.

I use the index, but not exclusively. It does have a good track record long term, but I found it to be a useful tool to use along with your own handicapping methods or of others whose opinions you value, and comparing index values to actual point spreads. Use discretion and be prudent, upsets do happen!
