I was at the Steeler/Cinci game yesterday and just returned home this morning after a long night of celebrating victory!!! I read the In-Game Thread and couldn't believe how many people were calling the hit on Palmer a cheap shot. A 300 lb defensive lineman got blocked into Palmer....How in the fuck is he supposed to stop himself??? That is like when referees throw roughing the passer flags for QB's getting bumped into by a D Lineman who is on a full sprint. How do you expect him to stop himself...he doesn't have 4 wheel disc brakes!!!

Suck it up...people get hurt playing football and these guys understand these risks. Both tears are clean and he will be back next year for training camp.

I know I don't have that many posts on here so I don't care if anyone agrees or disagrees with me, but TMAC lost all respect that I had for him yesterday. In an 18 page thread I am guessing somewhere around 8 pages of it were him posting the same thing over and over again....."Waaaaaaaaah, Palmer got cheap shotted. If he didn't get hurt they would have won" Well guess what else, "If the grasshoppers had machine guns, the birds wouldn't fuck with them" But the Grasshoppers aren't armed and Palmer did get hurt, so the birds get to eat those crunchy little treats and the BLACK AND GOLD advance to round 2!!!

That is a great post. I just read the whole thing to, and it made me sick listening to TMAC and Cantstopme going back and forth. I'm hoping TMac was just a little drunk. I'm sure it was done on purpose, they went out there like in The Karate Kid.

It was so funny, I yelled that as soon as Palmer got hit. I didn't realize at first it was a serious injury. I really feel bad for Palmer, he's a likeable guy and it sucks to go out like that in his 1st playoff appearance.

But it was very fitting......
