  • What Do You Think About This

I'm watching Manning, in his first ever playoff game, showing his inexperience. You can see how tight he is, forcing passes he shouldn't. Now here is my question. What about the other inexperienced QB today. How will Palmer handle the Steelers defense. I'm thinking what we are seeing with Manning is what happens to most inexperienced QB's in the playoffs for the first time.

I've been thinking Cinc is the play but now I'm really starting to wonder if Palmer is going to play scared and start forcing passes and playing not to lose, instead of playing to win. I can't find a reason Palmer won't show his inexperience just like Manning is. Especially against a defense like the Steelers.

Does this make Pitt the play and not Cinc. What do you guys think.

"especially against a defense like the Steelers"? uh, they aren't that good on D...they gave up 21 to Det last week and that game meant something to the Steelers

Is it a coincidence that A LOT of members of BC seem to be Steelers fans?

I think he will do fine. He is BETTER than Manning IMO. Much better. He also has MANY MORE weapons that the Giants. Pitt may or may not win, we'll see. I LOVE the Over. Leaning towards Cinci now since all the late money is on Pitt.

It is true Palmer is better than Manning and may not be as overwhelmed as Manning. Maybe I'm trying to think too much and should stay with my origional feelings. Especially since everyone seems to be on Pitt. I just won big on Carolina -4.5 at +250 so I can afford to risk some of it on Cinc. Thanks for the input.

Yeah- I am mainly on the over. Cinncy has proven a worthy opponent and I will take the points.

Another thing to consider is that Palmer faced Pitt twice in the regualr season, so it's not likely for Pitt to do something different in this game.

The system that I use tells me Pitt and the under but I'm going against it taking the over and Cinn. Something is telling me that this game is going to be 23 - 17 in the 4th and Cinn is going to score late to win it 24 - 23. My thinking is if I like the under take Pitt, the over take Cinn. What helped me take the over and Cinn was that no game this weekend has gone over. Sounds stupid but that's what it is. LOL!!!!
