St Joes - 2 1/2(played at gametime)
** Liked them early at 3 1/2, but you never know what Temple team will show up. Had almost talked my self out of it until I saw "the man" Hoops on 'em! Called the local and they were down to 2 1/2.
Tennessee + 5
** I live 10 mins from the UT campus and this team has a new attitude and are really confident they can win games...unlike past few years. I am not a UT fan, so this is not a "my team" pick at all. I am actually more of a Gamecock fan cause of Steve Spurrier(2nd greatest college coach ever). Just think S. Carolina not as good and 5 is a lot of points to give to a team that went to Austin and "whipped" the Longhorns.
I have leans and might play later on:
Duke - 7
Loy Mary - 1

New York Giants - 2 1/2
** Was leaning all week to Carolina + 3, and I know RJ whom is "the man" (I believe he and Hoops have earned the right around here to be titled as "the man"), is on Carolina today, but after going back and looking again...I thought, "what am I thinking, taking Carolina against a team that plays great at home and has beaten several real good teams there( KC, Denver, Dallas ). Therefore, I will lay less than a field goal with the home team! Gambling is playing the odds and I feel the odds are better with home team to win, esp when they only have to do so by 3.
Pittsburgh - 3
** Both real good teams here with lots of talent. Both real good coaches. The diffrence here I see is, Pitt is used to being here in this spot and Cincy is not. I know home field means a lot, but hey, didnt Pitt go to Cincy and beat them pretty good back when cincy was trying to assert themselves as the leaders of the pack in the division???
NYG / CAR over 43 1/2
** Just see both teams getting to 21 here and if that happens, someone will have to score some kinda points to win...hence the over!!!
