  • Warm Weather Teams vs Cold Weather Teams

The temperture forcast at kickoff in New England today is 29 degrees. Jacksonville is a warm weather team. I don't remember the exact numbers but WARM WEATHER teams playing where the temperture is under 40 degrees at kickoff DONT COVER.

This is easy. Play New England -7.5

19 degrees, I agree, don't think that ankle will feel that great looking at that Pat D in the freezing cold
    Great Day To Win

    MLB 2008 (19-23-1) +3.0 units

    NBA 08-09 (10-7) + 1.59 units

Tony. The last time these two teams played each other was December 14, 2003 at New England. The Pats won 27-13 as 6 point favorites. Since 1992 New England is 4-1 SU against Jacksonville, which may mean nada going back that far. When was the playoff game that Jax won over N.E.

I live in Daytona. Jacksonville is 90 miles north of Daytona. It's been a colder than normal winter. I'm certain it's been colder in Jax.

Will NE still cover? Possibly. I wouldn't use weather as a capping factor.

Frank. It won tonight, although I will agree NE would have won and covered, regardless of the weather. I've used weather as a capping factor ever since I learned some time ago that Tampa Bay had never covered a game when it was less than 40 degrees at kickoff. It worked great until Tampa won outright at Philly in the playoffs. It won't be a factor anymore this year because all the warm weather teams are gone.
