I am so sick of everyone bad mouthing the Steelers...I can understand when the announcers on TV root for other teams to beat them because the majority of these guys announcing now either were on teams that got pummeled by the Steelers in the 70's or were fans of the teams the Steelers pummeled in the 70's.

This also begs the question though, why doesn't everyone hate the 49ers after their dominant 80's or hate the Cowboys after their dominant 90's?

The answer however is simple, the difference between the Steelers, 49ers and Cowboys is that only one of the three teams has been a winner on a consistent basis. I know that the Steelers sucked in the mid 80's, but over 35 years they have been the most consistent.

This is just an opinion and I may be wrong about the records. I am at work and don't have time to find the records but if another Steeler fan wishes too I would be eternally greatful....hint, hint RJ and Chuck!!!
