Finally had a winning day yesterday going 2-1 on posted picks, here are my bets for today and the lines I got:
NBA:
Dallas (pickem) - Watching the Wolves play has been painful lately as they are 2-8 in their last 10 games including home losses to Portland and Sacramento! Dallas is 4-1 ATS last 5 against the Wolves and MN is 1-4 ATS last 5 and 3-6-1 ATS last 10. Dallas has been playing great ball lately going 8-2 last 10 and 13 of last 16 games straight up. Dallas does have a poor 1-5-2 ATS record on zero days rest, but since we just need Dallas to win on zero days rest they are 5-3 straight up. Taking the much better team just to win.
Orlando (-2) - Toronto has been a good team to play on the road, but they suck at home. Toronto is 2-12 straight up at home and a horrible 3-11 ATS! Toronto has covered their last 7 games, but 6 of those have been on the road. Orlando is 3-0 ATS last 3 on the road and has covered their last 4 games. Orlando is 7-4 ATS on the road for the year. Francis is listed as probable, earlier was questionable which kind of worried me then.
NCAA Hoops:
Florida St (+4.5) - Both teams haven't beat anyone good and both have great records. Florida St only loss is at Florida 74-66. Clemson lost last game to Elon at home 74-69 as a 21.5 point home favorite.
NCAA football:
USC (-7) - This will be a fun game to watch tonight! Matt Lienart is 37-1 as a starter and USC has 2 Heisman trophey winnings at their skilled offense positions. USC's offense is special this year since almost always if you win the Heisman and are guarteed to be the #1 pick in the draft, you turn pro! Not Lienart which is why we probably won't see an offense like this for a while. Texas will put up their fair share of points, but I believe coaching is a big advantage for USC. Carroll and USC has been here before and their experience in the big game will get USC the win by 14. Predicted score 45-31.
Texas/USC over 69 - See above.
Updated record:
NFL: 40-29-2 +7.44 units
NCAA Foot: 39-32 +3.87 units
NBA: 33-34 -3.24 units
NCAA Hoops: 3-5 -2.27 units
NHL: 17-17 +.5 units
Let's win some money tonight and hope for a great game tonight!
