Is it just me or does everyone go through hot and cold streaks

i have done great all year but the bowls have killed me.I am still up but losing more $$$$$ as we speak.It all started with Ga Tech placed almost 200 on the ml and lost then had New Orleans and the Under on Sunday and a fumble return with 1 min left kills me in both bets.Then last night i tripled my wager and took the UNDER 461/2 in the Penn St Fla state Game.Both teams have great defenses figured 461/2 was way to high but look what happend. 3 ot and i lose.To lose that bet it took

#1 A missed Extra Point {very Rare}
#2 A safety {VERY ODD}
#3 A fumble inside the 5 yard line to push a lead to 10 {happens but hard to swallow
#4 a missed 29 yard field goal in regulation to go to OT {there again happens but hard to swallow
#5 a missed 40 yard field goal {gonna say that was 50-50}
#6 After Penn St scored a Td it looked like Fla state made a TD withe ease to make it 23 -23
#7 Then all of the sudden the guy can kick a field goal to win 26-23 and go over the total

Bets like this hurts.

ohh believe me tech it happens to all of us...i couldnt buy a win a few weeks ago...its not until jan 1st that i got back on track...the best thing is to just go small until you get back into the swing of things.

Tech it happens to everyone. Anyone that says they don't is totally full of it. Most on the time the cold straight last way to long and the Hot straights aren't long enough

It's happened to me. I was +18.5 units for the week going into New Years day with the NFL. I've managed to blow the 18.5 units. And I'm now down 6 units. Unfortunately, it happens.

Hot and cold streaks definitely happen to all of us. I do not think people enjoy the hot streaks while they last. But as soon as they turn cold they get negative. So when I turn cold I just cut my bets back a little and do not chase. Hopefully I have learned my lesson on chasing. Lost one of my biggest bets betting on Drake in NCAAB. Hope you turn your losing streak around.

Frank i really appreciate your input.It just bothers me that i play conservitive all year and make $$$$ but i start losing and think i can overcome it and it starts getting worse. When u are cold u keep thinking it will turn around and by the time it does its too late.I went double my normal wager then triple the next day lose all and then see wayne has Virginia Tech as a 7Pt Touchdown go against because i am an ACC fan {see avitar} AND think they have no chance.But then again think 2 great defenses game will go under for all my +units for the year did great until the 4th 1/4 and the 3 ot. Feel very sick to my stomach

ended up losing both bets making me about even for the year.Very bad thing considering that i was in the +++++++ all year.95%of me wants to play USC tomorrow - the points to break back even but this goes to show how a $25 a game gambler gets messed up.At 1 point this year i was over 1500 just betting a 1/4 a game.Now i am even.

I've been hot the last couple weeks, and went 2-14 yesterday....does that answer your question....Generaly if I don't come out the Funk the next day, I stay in a lull for a while...It comes and goes---kapt
