  • Nut, are you drinking?

Where did you hear the Packers were interested in Randy Moss? Normally, the Packers are only interested in someone who wants to play 4 quarters.

I thought Herschel Walker was the best move ever by the Queens. It sure took them out of contention for several years and us Packers fans really appreciated that.

          People forget

What an amazing job Dennis Green and Jeff Diamond did in the 90's. No 1st round picks for their first two years (or the year before that), only 2 second round picks in three years and 2 3rd rounders with an aging roster. Good talent evaluation and excellent coaching mixed with adult leadership made them a power for years. They'd have won a super bowl were it not for fate intervening on that Gary Anderson FG.

Whenever my friends and I start making fun of the nutty professor, I have to remind everybody there were some real good times for awhile.

By the way, do you think it was coincidence that it started POURING on that Monday night right before that FG attempt? Then the wind started blowing, the snap goes thru Berger's hands, then that ball Favre threw for grabs that bounced off of Freeman's feet and into his hands...BULLSHIT!!!

I had a little talk with God after that game, since it cost me another Super Bowl. I think I pissed him off. Here's a hint for those that feel God screws them over.....DON'T PISS HIM OFF!!!!
I've been paying for it ever since!!!!

                I HATE THAT FUCKING URLACHER

....the way I hate Favre. He's awesome. He'll win 2 games by himself which should give Da Bears about 8 wins next year. :D

                  I hope

The Packers can clinch the division in Week #8 like last year

I'm not getting my hopes up

If they win 6, I'll be shocked. Another year as the NFC doormat, oh well, at least now we have Kordell Stewart to blame. He's used to it.

The Bears and Queens were so happy with the NFL re-alignment. Now they know they will at least finish 4th in the division

                        Watch out, Jr.

I'm not going overboard on this team, since management's been terrible and they have no backup QB, but.....

Vikes will win 9 or 10 this season. If the refs don't intervene and fix the Lambeau game again like last year (I thought the old Candlestick refs were horribly crooked), they'll give the Pack a run for it.

                            Voskuhl

If Da Bears are smart, they'll do like Steel city did in Stewart's early days. They'll tell him to throw screens, bombs, or run the damn ball. He keeps trying to be Joe Montana (same with Daunte), which he has no prayer of being. I would fine my QB every time he tried a damn crossing route when he could just take off.

Matter of fact, I would fire my offensive coordinator with half of these teams. Unless you have a smart QB that's ALSO accurate, I would NEVER allow slants, out routes, crossing patterns and the like. Screens and bombs. That's it!!! I don't care how predictable it is, teams can't stop those consistently and you have a chance until the playoffs when you face a REAL good "D". If you've got a Favre, great, but if not....quit being stupid!!!

                              BOTH TEAMS

                              Bucs and Iggles...

Are on their way down. Maybe not enough to stop ONE from getting to the title game again. But both...no way!!!

As far as who will stop the other, who knows? There's always some team that surprises.
