Bad start to the year going 1-3 on posted plays, won my teaser when Washington won and lost on Portland, 1st half Seattle when Alexander fumbled inside the 10 yard line of GB with less than a minute to the half, and lost Buffalo who gave up a 4th qtr 95 yards kickoff return winning TD to the Jets. Here are my bets so far today:
NCAA:
Iowa (pickem) - Still at pickem on Sportsbook.com. Iowa finished the year strong going 5-2 ATS and straight up losing 2 close games: by 3 home vs Michigan & by 1 at Northwestern. Last 2 games won at Wisconsin and smoked Minnesota at home.
Texas Tech (-3) - Alabama offense hasn't been the same since Prothro broke his leg in win against Florida. Texas Tech has a great offense and I don't believe Alabama's offense can keep up.
Ohio St (-4.5) - Ohio St finished the year 6-0 ATS while Notre Dame went 0-3 ATS. Ohio St should of beat Texas if they weren't rotating qbs at the time and just played Troy Smith at the time. Ohio St has a great defense and I am looking forward to see this defense against ND's offense. They always say defense wins championships and Ohio St's D is much better than ND's D.
NBA:
Suns (-6) - Suns are 4-0 ATS last 4 road games and are 10-3 ATS on the road for the year. NY is 1-6 ATS last 7.
Suns/Knicks over 206.5 - Suns rank 1st in the league in scoring with 103.1 ppg. Over is 9-0 in NY last 9 games and the over is 6-2 in last 8 meetings between these 2.
