I had a huge day Sunday winning my NFL GOY w/KC's rout and hit a 2* as well. I also hit my NBA play making me 4-1, +6.9 units on the day. Unfortunately, my bowls have sucked (lost another one Sat). All of the games below were posted earlier by me and the lines I use will be the ones I had at the time (in a couple of cases that will hurt me).
2* Georgia -6
I got this line when I posted Friday but even 8 is good value. Georgia has a great coach, an underrated QB and an excellent defense. West Virginia is here only because the Big East gets an automatic BCS berth. Tipoff was LSU's annihilation of Miami. Remember that Georgia beat LSU in the SEC title game.
1* Florida -2 1/2
You can get this game at a pick now. I played it early and am stuck with the bad line because I never dreamed the money would go to Iowa. Iowa's a nice team but was uncompetitive against two Big 10 class teams in Michigan and Ohio State.
1* Wisconsin +10 1/2
I was going to make this a 2* play because I actually originally liked the Badgers to win SU. But Wisconsin has major internal problems as the new incoming head coach, the current defensive coordinator, is firing all but two of the current assistants. All those guys are spending more time job hunting than preparing for this game. But Alvarez is a great bowl coach and Wisconsin RB Calhoun will be the best guy on the field and a likely top 15 pick in the draft if he turns pro. Auburn caught several teams at the right time this year and is only the fifth best team in the SEC (Georgia, LSU, Alabama, Florida are all better). Auburn probably wins but this is way too many points.
Note: In an earlier post, I made a 2* play on Notre Dame. I no longer like this pick and am making a wager on Ohio State for an equal amount (to cancel my bet). I am docking myself 0.2 units in my totals to reflect this.
