Does anyone know why the hash marks in college are wider than NFL???

Me...used to be lined up with the old goal posts as they used to be much wider. About 8 yrs ago they narrowed the goal posts...why they never narrowed the hash marks, I do not know.Three Jack's Record http://www.bettorschat.com/forums/sh...10#post1323910Comment
