NBA THURSDAY... Lot of bad lines today... Should be a great day.
1) WASHINGTON +3.5
I truly believe the wrong team is favored in this matchup. Coming off a
very disappointing finish in detroit last night, I do not believe that the heat will be
up for this game. Heat is not a young team and I think that will show tonight in back to
back road games. Heat are an unimpressive 6-9 on the road this year while Washington
is a not so shabby 7-5. You know Washington will be up for this game and expect a
solid 38+ from G.Arenas. I believe fresher legs will prevail in this one. (Add that 80% of the
early money is on Miami and you have a great play)
2) Orlando +1.5
After starting the season an impressive 8-2 ATS, Minnesota is just 3-4 ATS in their last 7.
After starting their 6 game homestand 0-3, Orlando has won 2 straight and covered albeit against
Milwaukee and Newyork, I believe that Orlando is playing with some confidence right now and desperately
wants this win to even their homestand to 3-3. This game will probably come down to which Garnett
shows up, but I think he will have to go 30-20 to get Minnesota past this hungry orlando team. Grant
Hill, Dwight Howard and Steve Francis are no joke. (Add that 90% of the early money is on Minnesota
and that everyone expects this to be an easy win for Minnesota, I really like Orlando here)
3) Toronto +6.5 And small play on TORONTO ML.
This game seems almost too easy. Indiana is a team that is in shambles, all of this Artest
business has really screwed with the chemisty of this team. After playing tight @San Antonio for most
of the game, they just gave up and lost by 13. While Toronto was down 20 to detroit, they fought back
to only lose by 7. Infact, Toronto lost to SAN ANTONIO AND DETROIT by a combined 13 points. Indiana
is 0-3 ATS last 3, Toronto is 5-0 in their last 5 ATS. Add that Oneal is questionable and it seems
like this line is built strictly on reputation that INDIANA is GOOD and TORONTO is BAD.
4) Atlanta/New Jersey OVER 96 First Half
Atlanta just doesnt play defense. New jersey is on FIRE with Carter and Kidd really in
a groove. I expect at least 104 points in this first half.
