We kept rolling yesterday, 2-1 (+5 units). St. Louis cashed the ticket for the 9th 5 STAR winner in a row and 17 out of the last 19. Short card today, but I have one strong play..........
5 STAR: MILWAUKEE (-$142) Vs. San Diego
(Matt Kinney vs. Randy Keisler)
Good spot here for the Brewers. Matt Kinney has pitched very well at home and he gets to face the worst team in the National League in this game. The Brewers bats came alive against the Reds and they should be able to get Kinney some run support against Randy Keisler who was just called up by San Diego from AAA Portland. The Brewers are 8-4 versus teams that are allowing 4.8 or more runs per game this season. The Padres are 1-10 as a road underdog of +100 to +150 this season. In the first half of the season, National League road teams that are averaging 3.8 or less runs per game against a decent starting pitcher with an ERA between 3.70 to 4.20 are just 8-33 since 1997. Look for the Brew Crew to take this one.
MLB RECORD
5 STAR RECORD 34-15 (+40.90 UNITS)
3 STAR RECORD 47-49 (-4.59 UNITS)
2 STAR RECORD 33-29 (+16.01 UNITS)
1 STAR RECORD 15-17 (+0.32 UNITS)
OVERALL RECORD 129-110 (+52.64 UNITS)
A $100 player would be up $5264.00
Good luck,
John
