Handicapping ?

When capping basketball how many points do you give a team for playing on their home court. For example, on a neutral court Team A vs Team B is a pickem. If Team A is now the home team how many points should they be favored? Thanks

I personally feel it is a little more than 3 points. I use 5..

depends on if it is a conference game or not-but in general I agree and would say around 5 points

I allow 4, with a few exceptions such as New Mexico at home is 6, Syracuse is 5, in general its 4 but some teams as I stated I add 1 or 2 more, cause they are extremely tough at home.....

I like 3 to 4 depending on the home court record. Sagarin uses 4.56, which I feel is slightly high.
