I admit I don't have all of the results in front of me, but surely in all of the years of the NFL Playoffs, the teams with the best records did not ALWAYS make it to the final four teams and/or the Superbowl.
My point is that in other sports after a 3 of 4 or 4 or 7 series, one can more confidently say "the better team won." In the NFL, in a one out of one series, it is more likely that something could happen(as described above) so as the "better" team(the one which would probably win a longer series against the other team) did not win;that is my only point.

how about the 3 straight NFC Championships in where the Eagles were def the better team, just couldn't win the NFC Championship, but yes I agree, in one game there can be a lot of parody, which makes what N.E. has done, 3 out of 4 so amazing, especially this day in age, when almost no one is loyal to their teams, and just go for nothing but money.....

The Jags went to the conference championship game their 2nd year in the league. Because of their early success they had a HUGE fan base. Unfotunately, those fans were spoiled with success to soon. Once the Jags became a bad team some fans quickly jumped off the bandwagon.

I don't hate Baltimore, but I do hate the Ravens.

If CIN plays PIT first round and are giving them points...BACK UP THE TRUCK!!!

Ealges lost 2 of those titles games at home so they have no excuse, rams definately were better than them in 1st year, tampa beat them and smoked the radiers bucs were better & panthers D just killed the eagles. To prove that panthers could've beaten the pats in sb if not for brady's comeback drive late in 4th qtr. Don't try and bring up injuries caz thats weak especially since every team has them eagles just not clutch in a big game just like the steelers.

what is your point, i was simply saying that the favorite has lost in the NFL playoffs......we could sit here and argue moot point after moot point on who was better in what year....but there has been more than 1 upset in the NFL playoffs

                  REAL LUCKY

They couldn't even beat Cleveland. I know NE, Pitt and others are saying their prayers.
