hahahaha, i know that sounds ridiculous.....but everyone has to admit that team has some great talent.....clayton who is a rookie is coming into his own, mason is awesome and heap is awesome.....now for kyle boller.....i know everyone in baltimore and the country hates him, and he has made some awful mistakes.....he's got talent, there's no question, he just needs to minimize mistakes and have better pass blocking, both of which he got against two of the better d's in the league.......going into MNF, the Packers had the top rated secondary in the league, and the Vikings were 6-1 in the last 7 games that were all pretty much won by the D, including 4 picks against Eli in New York.....now, u can't just forget the first half of the season where the Ravens just looked awful, all I said was they are the type of team with so much talent and a defense that can shut teams out, that they would scare people.....I mean they dominated the Broncos in Denver 3 weeks ago, if it wasn't for 3 redzone turnovers, on 3 horrible Boller decisions, then they win that game by at least 10 points........but I still think realistically, and Boller needs to prove himself in more than just 2 primetime home games.....he needs to do this on the road, so I think the Ravens should sign a veteran qb in the offseason, and have whoever that is and Boller battle it out in training camp.....trust me, this was a very dissapointing season for Ravens fans, but every team has an off year, but its nice to see us go into the offseason with some good chemistry unlike last year.......you have to remember we played with Anthony "Wrong" as qb for half the season, and w/out Ray Lewis and Ed Reed for most of the year, while that is not an excuse, it certainly hurts.....and with young guys stepping up as of late, 2006 could be a great year for the Ravens, as they just announced Billick is coming back......so didn't mean to sound stupid in the last post...my bad

I also know that Tony Siragusa, Sam Adams, and co. were popping open the champagne on Christmas evening when the Bears let up 17 points, allowing the Ravens defense of 2000 to still obtain the fewest points in a season record......which in my opinion was the best D of all time.....for the simple fact that the offense went over a month without scoring a TD, and we still won the Super Bowl that year, and they also held the record of fewest rush yards ever in a season.....thanks to that incredible front 7

Watch out for the Redskins. They have been playing great football down the stretch.
Not only are they the only NFC team to beat Seattle and Chicago, they are the only NFC team to beat Seattle OR Chicago.
The NFC is wide open. I see the Colts coming out of the AFC and winning the whole thing.
I'm hoping NE manages to get that 3rd seed away from the Bengals. Steelers-Pats would be a great wild card game and, assuming NE wins, NE @ Denver would be a classic divisional game. The AFC playoffs are going to be awesome.Posted Plays

The only thing about the Skins, and granted they are hot right now.......they'll have to win every game on the road, where they have struggled.....they beat the Bears and Seahawks at home in the first month of the season, a lot has changed with those two teams, a whole different story having to go into one of those two cities in a playoff atmosphere....but you're right the NFC is wide open, but everyone knows the AFC is still a step ahead

Kyle Boller's boyfried....LOL!!!
Let me preface this by saying that as a Steelers fan I hate the Ravens.
I love these stats thrown around by Ravens fans. Boller has played well against two great pass defenses. No he had good games against the NFC North. The biggest joke division with skewed passing yardage totals because no one in the division has any kind of passing attack. Yeah GB has top rated pass defense. Why pass if you can run it down their throats up by double digits all game collecting favre INTs. You got to dig into the numbers a little to search for any validity.
Billick has been an offensive moron thorugh his entire stay in BAL. I am starting to feel sorry for the guy. These couple games by Boller are going to only makes matters worse. Now Billick will have even more resolve. Why does it seem so obvious even to a football layman that Boller is just like one of those teases back in high school. They will rub and play with it, but there will never be any swallowing or, heaven forbid, penetration.
Good luck with 2006, sportsjunkie. As good as Frye looks, I think they finish last in the AFC North. I may reevaluate this if they finally dump the felon and let Taylor run the ball.

I completely agree with you. The Skins are a longshot at best to make the Super Bowl. They still need to win this weekend to even make the playoffs. However, I do truly believe that they are playing the 3rd best football of any team in the NFC right now, behind Seattle and Chicago, and they have beaten both of those teams already. I agree that a lot has changed for those teams since September, but the Skins are playing a lot better now than they were then too.Posted Plays

I believe they got killed by Pitt last year, and then went on the road in the AFC championship and beat them pretty handidly, with a beat up secondary.......also, the Colts have proven they are the most talented team this year, and yes they legitimately lost to the Chargers at home, but their B team played tough against the Seahawks on the road, so to say they WON'T win........i mean come on, be realistic, both those teams have great shots at winning, but that is why they play the game, because there are no GUARANTEES in sports, i know everyone is entitled to their opinion but none of these posts made any sense.......i think everyone is lucky it took the Ravens until late in the season to gel or else they would be scaring a lot of people right now if they were headed to the playoffs.............
Ravens? Give me a break. They beat a very bad GB team at home and beat a dome team that is horrible on the road at home. BIG DEAL!

I forgot, who won the last time the Ravens and Steelers played???.....and I don't care that Maddox was playing QB that day, because when we played at Pitt on MNF, if we had any kind of qb besides Anthony Wright, we would have easily won that one.....as for Kyle Boller again, I'm not saying he's great now, but he is only 24, most qbs don't just come out of college and are awesome.....this is the first year he's actually had people to throw to besides Heap, and with his injury, it is taking until now to finally get some chemistry down.....if anything he's proven he at least deserves a shot next year, like I said before, if you can read, bring in a good vet like Jon Kitna to challenge for the spot, but you can't just take away what he did over the past 2 games and say it was nothing.....u should be thanking the Ravens for hurting Maddox last year and giving Big Ben a chance, if it wasn't for us you wouldn't have been in the opportunity to choke away the AFC Championship at home.........as for Billick being an offensive guru, he was a successful coordinator with a high powered offense in Minnesota, so he just got that stigma, he didn't come out and say he was or anything, the guy is going to have his worse season this year at 7-9, remember 2 years ago, how awful that promising Steelers team was that finished maybe 6-10, were u bashing Cowher then???......and how many super bowls does Bill Cowher have???.....Billick has won a super bowl and went to the playoffs 3 times already, everyone is allowed a down year, we had a ton of key injuries......all Pitt is going to do is lose in the first round to Cinccy or NE, so I don't see how much trash can be talked........you just don't know much about football except for what you read on-line or the paper, maybe have some facts when you bash guys like Billick and Boller who both have career winning records, don't believe everything you read from these "experts" who analyze the game..............

Frank, all i said was they would be a dangerous playoff team right now for the simple fact they are really gelling and have a defense that can be shutdown, like they did in Denver where they average about 30 some a game and have killed good teams, but they're not in the playoffs and there are good reasons for that, they were awful for about a 2 month stretch..........I'm not ignoring that, but if they can carry this over into next season, teams better look out, cuz they will sneak up on people

They'd have to play on the road where they haven't won this season.
