Insight Bowl & Champs Sports Bowl !

I'll give a short write up on the Insight Bowl as the other one has way too much intangibles to even disect.
Lets cover the team from the Big East first....Rutgers making its first bowl appearance since 1979. And this is the same team they are facing again. The Big East with the exception of W.Virginia and Louisville had awesome seasons. Then you have the surprise of the conference S. Fla and Rutgers.
Rutgers faced 4 bowl teams with a combine record of 33 -12. Losing to bowl teams Louisville 5 - 56, W.Virginia 14 - 27, S. Fla. 31 -45, beating Navy 31 - 21.
Now for the Pac-10 Arizona St. Sundevils who is making their 3rd bowl game since 02 in the Holiday Bowl, and 04 in the Sun Bowl. They won last years encounter aganist a good Purdue team in the Sun Bowl as 8 pt dogs 27 -23. As far as their schedule this year......i feel they have played a tougher schedule then Rutgers. Beating offensive minded N.Western 52 -21, Oregon St. 42 -24, and one of the leading nations rushers @ Washington St. 27 - 24. Losing to number 1 USC by 10 @ home 28 - 38 which they had the lead late in the 4th quarter. They also dropped a game @ UCLA 35 -45 and again had the lead late in the game.
Offense fireworks the Sundevils have....Now the question is have they fixed the defense? I think this defense can get by and stop this Rutgers offense as its no where near what they have faced in the Pac 10.
With returning starters healthy i see Arizona St. back to how they started the season with lots of fire power and a decent defense that held offensive minded N.Western to 21 pts. And held USC to 38.
Yes i know the total on all bowl games have gone over the total but i don't see Rutgers scoring much. Arizona St. 47 - Rutgers 13.

CHAMPS SPORTS BOWL
Had to figure as to how this Colorado team will come out. The program is reeling and not sure they have recovered from the beating they had at the end of the season plus losing their coach. I can only recommend Clemson but a very small play....As Clemson has Whitehurst hurting and some other significant injuries, and suspensions.
