The loss to New England and Indy were real losses(the Indy game was a bad place for BigBen, coming off an injury than playing Manning when the Colts were peaking, plus the amplified crowd noise did not help...the other loss to Cinci was due to turnovers, and the loss to Jax and Balt was Cowher's inability to recognize that Tommy Maddox sucks!
Pitt is the best 10-5 wild card team out there right now, and if they continue to play at this level they will and already have beat Cinci, they can beat New England- the Champs, due to New England's poor pass D coupled with their questionable run D , and I think they can beat Indy, who are unfortunately going through a lot of sorrow and distraction right now, not to mention cursing themselves by sitting out their starters.They haven't played Denver in a while, so that game (if it comes) will be interesting!All in all, Pitt's chances are pretty good, one game at a time mentality, and overall peaking at the right time.This week... Detroit will wish they never boarded the plane for Pittsburgh- the Lions will be thrown to the Steelers! Pittsburgh 35-3.

steelers dont have the greatest passings offense out there and new englands run defense seems fine with bruschi, seymour, and other front 7 there don't know where your gettin this from. pats smacked tampa bay 28-0 how is there run defense weak, the pass d is for obvious reasons. That was then-this is now. This Steeler team is better than the "15-1" record setting team from last year. They have found a fast back in Willie Parker, always a power back in Bettis, and three good receivers to spread the field.Their only handicap is their O-line, and they have come together as of late. New England was lucky to get by the Jets last night,and if you think Tampa Bay has a running game with the exception of the Cadillac, who was gimpy the last three weeks,you are in for a big surprise when you see Willie Parker "shooting the finger" at the D-backs as he runs by them.
I have watched this team since 1970, and I will tell you this-they are a threat.

No chance at beating Cinci is a ridiculous comment. Pittsburgh will easily roll into Cinci and give Cinci's 3 headed moster hell all day in their first ever playoff game. Very talented Cinci team but still too young to win a big playoff game against a team like Pittsburgh home or not. This game will be nothing like the recent 38-31 Bengals victory. Pittsburgh pounds away with the running game and plays lights out defense like they have against minn and the browns the last two weeks. If Cinci were smart they'd throw this last reg season game and with a NE win they would take the 4 seed and play host of the Jags.

You're right about seattle tho, not a very strong team and I see them losing second round as well.
