Why would you take Houston +3, but Kansas -6?

the line is Kansas -3, I look at the line move with the data taht I got to justify the selection. If Kansas' line has move up to -6 then my choice is opposite. I look at the data that I receive and input other factors that may include other cappers in BC. I shall Make my decision before the game start and will post here again to try.
