10* Missouri (+11) vs Illinois---------->huge non-conference rivalry game on neutral court should produce a close game despite the fact that illinois is the much better team............11-0 illinois should be happy just to win this one and although the have the talent to win by 20+, missouri's losses are not as bad as they look...........annoying missouri seems to only get up for select games and usually gives a good showing during them...........they played close as double digit dogs at arkansas and although illinois is good, they have struggled lately offensively vs. worse

this should go down to the wire and keep this nice GOM/GOY streak i have going in the W column

Illinois forward Randle questionable for Missouri game

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (AP) -- Illinois forward Brian Randle, who missed the last game with a sprained ankle, is a question mark for the annual "Braggin' Rights" game against Missouri on Wednesday night.

"We need him in the lineup and I'm not sure he'll be there," coach Bruce Weber said on Monday.

Randle, Illinois' fifth-leading scorer with an 8.4-point average, was injured in practice last Wednesday. He sat out two days before returning to limited duty.

"He's got to get over the mental fear of landing on it," Weber said. "He analyzes everything. If he's going to be tentative, we're going to have to make a decision on it."

Weber said Randle would be assigned to Thomas Gardner, Missouri's leading scorer, if he was able to play.

"He's probably our defensive stopper, especially with a guy like Gardner who's getting 20 a game," Weber said.

Warren Carter started in place of Randle in a 61-42 victory over Coppin State on Sunday and had seven points and six rebounds in 19 minutes.

Weber said point guard Chester Frazier, who tore a quadriceps muscle earlier this month, may resume practicing this week. But Frazier is not expected to play against Missouri.

No. 9 Illinois is 11-0 entering the neutral-site sold-out game against Missouri, while the Tigers are 4-3.
