And on the Total - Most trends are on the Under- I don't see it that way--- the only trend on the over is.

Another solid reason for the Over in the San Jose/Wash matchup- Kyle McLaren had arthroscopic knee surgery Monday and the Sharks expect to be without the workhorse defenseman for at least one game, if not more.
McLaren underwent the procedure, performed by team physician Dr. Arthur Ting Monday morning, to relieve the pain caused by Chondromalacia (also known as Runner's Knee). Basically, McLaren had the cleanup done behind and under his knee cap after feeling pain and having a fluid build-up for the previous 10 days.
"Things are good now, it's basically just getting the swelling out of there and being able to get back on the ice," said McLaren, whose 23:34 of average ice time is topped on the team only by Scott Hannan (24:14). "Hopefully I won't have to worry about it anymore."
McLaren will miss Friday night's game against Washington, is a possibility to play Sunday in Anaheim and hopes for sure to rejoin his teammates Tuesday night when the Sharks host the Mighty Ducks. Winners of five straight, San Jose has been idle since Saturday night
