On the heels of wayne's usual success in GOY's, i will do my best not to stop the momentum...........I am not sure what my GOY record is , but feel free to look it up, i would be stunned if it were lower than 70%...........as you guys know, i do not post often in professional sports but have a pretty solid record when i do.........ok, enough self-lauding, i am not about that and you know that
First NFL play this season
10* GOY Chicago (-3) -125 vs. Atlanta---->this play has little to do with vick's health....here is a guess that sore ribs and 14 degree weather dont mix but even if he is totally healthy, it should not matter..........this game has all the ingrediants for a GOY.....1)people are suddenly off chicago's bandwagon b/c they lost at pittsburgh in a game pitts had to win (ridiculous)..2)it is the bears last home game in a year where they have given up an average of 8 points per game including 24 to cincy; not to mention the bears have given up the least points in the nfl BY FAR....3)people still want to believe this is last years atlanta team but a closer look shows that their last 5 wins have been vs. the saints twice, the jets, the dolphins and the lions.....4)in the event we get lucky and vick doesnt play, this line goes to at least 6 and we get matt schaub, who isnt terrible but has no chance to win against this defense
this is chicago's chance to showcase on national tv with everyone watching how good they are, and maybe the offense is below avergae, but give me the average offense and great defense vs. the opposite (see san diego) every time
