VICK, Mc Nabb, Culpepper.........

They are the most overrated, over hyped players in the NFL, i cant stand it.....When will these teams realize that they are BETTER without them./......Look at the Vikings, and id promise you the Falcons would have a better record if they started Schaub.......The decisions these 3 qbs are horrendous along with Favre.......

I love Vick when he's at the top of his game, sadly, he does not play up to those flashes of brilliance most of the time. Too much time in the NFL? Has the hype machine gotten to him such that he just doesn't care as much? I have to disagree about Shaub though, we'd be like the jets with him on QB role. But your point remains valid.

vick style quarterbacks are the wave of the future, good solid playmaking decisions are passe' compared to highlight reel runs and throws, athletes will be worshipped, good football will degenerate into lots of errant throws, handoffs and defensive struggles with three plays a game they'll show over and over on sportscenter.

U can't put Manning and Brady in the same catagory. Yes, Brady has 3 super bowl rings and manning zero. But Brady is part of a great SYSTEM. Any place eles and he has no rings. Same with Elway, great system those years. (but elway was great). U don't need rings to be great and rings doesn't mea you are great. IE Danny Williams. Were is he now. Not even coaching Grambling State anymore. Wins super bowl and MVP! Was he great? Don't think so. Brady SUCKS on any other team. However he is great for that system. Bledsoe doesn't win if he stays.

your right you cant put brady and manning in the same category. Brady is head and shoulders above manning. Brady has "it" manning doesnt its that simple. Manning is a solid QB yes, but just because someone has the tools and skills doesnt mean he has it mentally,and when the chips are down and I had to take either brady or manning to win 1 huge game. I'd take brady every time no questions asked. Until manning proves me otherwise. As far as systems go. That arguement doesnt hold up. Montana,young,bradshaw,aikman and so on all had systems. They all had top notch players. Bottom line is to win the SB you need the best players and best big game playmakers on your team along with good coaching. Football is a team sport QB is only 1 of 22 who start.
