Round Robin?

Can someone explain what a round robin is and how it works. I know alot about betting but I have always been curious what it is and nobody around me seems to be able to explain.

Its betting parlays.......For instance you play 3 teams say Team A B C there all parlayed together with 3 2 team parlays and 1 3 team parlays.

A B C 3 teamer
A B 2 teamer
A C 2 teamer
B C 2 teamer

If you go 1-2 u lose all 4 parlays
If you go 2-1 u win 1 parlay and lose a little bit depending on what you bet

Go 3-0 and your a big time winner
