  • Picks For Wednesday

Last night was insane, i thought i was going to go 1-9 on Baseball wagers but crazy things happened all night long the Twins looked like a loss going down a run in the 8th then they win in extra innings, Texas goes up 4-2 in the 8th only to have their bullpen implode and lose 5-4 then Colorado is down 7-0 and wins by 1 run and Pittsburgh has a 3-1 lead late only to have Houston tie it then win it with 3 in the 9th.....plus my super parlay was sooooo close it made me sick the Twins get a 2 run homer to cover the run line and Montreal goes over but we were 1 run short in the Rockies game only winning by 1.....UGGHHH!

Atlanta and the Montreal over were 2 late wagers that came in to save face for the night but it was really crazy and i went from going 1-9 in bases to 5-5 in the end...WEIRD WEIRD NIGHT!

We ended the night 5-5 + $33 or .33 UNITS and could have been better by either skipping the Parlay and adding $100 or hitting the bet and adding $1,000.

Picks up in a little while and there are some nice games on the docket again today, GOOD LUCK!

The only thing that bothers me about playing Colorado is I keep thinking of Oliver's dismal performance with Texas and then with Bo Sox.
Is he really better or still a disaster waiting to happen?
At one time this guy averaged giving up almost 2 hits an inning.

I agree but Oliver is 1-0 at home with a 3.75 ERA and 0-2 on the road with a 6.75 ERA so i'm looking for some home cooking today.:D

Your due to bust out but your slump seemed to start when you started your play of the day on John's site.....Another Babe Ruth curse maybe? I have to go with Philly to bite back Zona today but if i lose one i hope it is that one so you get a winner and you get back on track. GOOD LUCK!

                        wayne - i agree

ever since i started posting on the sight - - i have lost my confidence and swagger

i had a good Saturday and Monday, very VERY LOUSY days in between

cant explain it, but will try to start contributing to this room once again, maybe I need a day off and just sit in the bleachers and observe

                        good luck wayne

I like that one Phil. I've been on this site for a couple of months now I never really post but I read all of the post on the site and do take most of the advice. I think for the most part most of the popular people on the site are actually pretty good at picking the games. Obviously I gamble like the rest of you on this site so I'm going to give it a try by posting my own picks. Hope I dont jinx myself or anybody else. Keep up the good work and keep posting those winners!!!!

P.S keep your head up Nut u will get back into the groove!!

The old saying is to play more when your hot and play less when your not. That could aplly to bills and/or picks. If your up and down, which it sounds like to me, maybe you should be more selective. Just a thought and believe me, I've had to do that plenty of weeks this year.

I'm on Detroit again tonight like Wayne. That damn zig-zag theory again. Only this time it's a double zag since they didn't win the last game.
