The injury is a big reason. Horner is a great player, and will be tough to replace. He is 7th in the nation in assists. Also, the Hawks backup point guard is just a freshman. This is a very tough spot for Iowa coming off a loss at Northern Iowa, and now going to an even tougher environment at the Hilton. I love Iowa States offense! They are shooting nearly 50% from the field, and scoring an average of over 82 points a game, while holding opponents to 72 points, and 43% from the field. Stinson is going to step up big in this game, and drop about 30 points. ISU is going to drive into the paint, get some easy buckets, and get Iowa in early foul trouble. If Iowa is going to keep this game close, Haluska and Bruner will have to drop atleast 20 a piece. Also this is an unranked favored over a ranked. Iowa State is 13-0 ATS since 97 when they are home favs of 3 or less. Iowa State is 2-0 ATS the past 3 years vs. Iowa. Iowa is just 2-5 ATS this year. Also the public is on Iowa with no line movements. I look for ISU to jump out, and hold onto the lead and win by 7. Good luck
