I agree w/ fcw.... the Refs gave the Lakers all the ticky-tacky BS calls in game 4,and the Spurs still had a chance to win, I think the Spurs win here, assuming the refs call it pretty even since it's in San Antonio.

Real Deal-As much as I am far from being a Laker fan, I have to agree with your picks and especially Lakers.
Spurs inability to defeat Lakers in game 4 after blowing 16 point lead will hurt them in same way the Minn. blew game 4 and went on to lose next 3.
You give the Lakers an inch and they will take a mile just like a good baseball team will capitalize if your team makes an error and gives them 4 outs.
Even if Spurs should win, line at WWTS is 3.5-this game could go to wire.

Your very right about the Lakers......YOU CANT GIVE THEM AN INCH AT ALL. If the spurs win just as you said that half a point might help you as it did the spurs backers in game four. I myself am not a laker fan but I do like them in this spot again today.

Where are you guys that are stating everyone is on the Mavs and Spurs get this from? I am calling my local guy at around 5 PM Est to place my action on those two teams and plan on getting some feedback from him. My guy gets his lines from Vegas books and sticks with what they have even if he has all action on one side. When his lines move it is often because of his line service getting info that the Vegas wise guys have hit hard at several books causing a few books to move their lines. I tend to think of his line as being reflective of what the public in Vegas is betting.

I'm playing the fact that the Spurs have beat the Lakers the past four @ home by 7, 9, 5, and most recently 19 I believe. I don't see the Spurs giving up any late lead again to the Lakers. Also using the zig-zag theory again (both qualify), which has not faired as well in round two so far as it has in several of the first round match-ups. ?????????? I still think S.A. and Dallas can be motivated enough to win and cover this time around.

Savage 1, I think the Spurs are a few steps ahead of the Twolves so I have a hard time believing SA will error much at home after blowing the last game and last minute chance to get the tie or possible win.

I just find it weird to put in money that early and for that much


the same thing happened on sunday when these guys were slamming the Lakers

It does get my attention that the Kings have dominated the Mavs this year, but in the play-offs it is even. In Game 4, the Mavs seemed content with their split in a lackluster showing. They didn't play with much energy, as evidenced by their second-lowest scoring output of these playoffs.

I haven't had a real good feel for this round, so I may be thinking wrong on both of my picks tonight, but still sticking with 'em as of right now.

49erman I think these are the best two plays in the nba and I have a "REAL" good feeling we cash in tonight.

Kobe8 AS FAR AS THE over/under in the DALLAS game I couldn't give you an honest answer. That game is a no play for me but if I had to choose one I'd choose the Over just based on the fact that it's going to be a run and gun game.
