I'm new here, and not familiar with goodboy, but in my opinion there is only one game that reasonably fits the description he wrote. The public unloads on the Colts every week, and he is certain to get a better line later in the week. There is also plenty of reason to like the Jaguars this weekend, in my opinion. Not that I give any credence to the general philosophy of a game of the year, as it's impossible to tell if you will like another game more down the road. But, I would be surprised if this ended up being anyone other than Jacksonville.Records:
NCAA Hoops (38-34-2, +4.59*)
NFL Sides (34-25, +12.15*)
NFL Totals (18-14-1, +8.23*)
NCAA Foots Plays (65-48-4, +21.47*)
NBA Plays (4-1-0, +5.92*)

T-P.... if this play IS Jacksonville, it's all the more reason to be very wary!! Who could possibly think that wagering against the absolute best team in the NFL, who has the most powerful offense combined with a very good defense, who probably has an eye on Miami's undefeated record, playing against a slightly above-average team, either without their starting QB, or with a QB that is just coming back from an injury, is the BEST game they've seen all year?? That's mind-boggling to me.
You may be right T-P, but if it is, I wouldn't bet it with your money! Not with the other 15 or so games on the board this week, plus the remaining games over the next 3 weeks!

The main reason I like the Jags is they outgained the Colts in their first meeting, and held the Colts high-powered offense to 268 yards in their first meeting, and that was on the turf. On the grass, and in Florida, I feel this game goes down to the wire. But enough about why I like the Jags, I was just saying I felt that was who his pick would be.Last edited by Tomorrows Paper; 12-08-2005, 12:24 PM.Records:

Over 1336 viewers and 43 posts- and we all hold our breath waiting for da man to make up his ever-lovin mind on what is his choice for the weekend- I feel like a fool to even get caught up looking in this thread."The range of what we think and do is limited by what we fail to notice.

Philadelphia?....... I actually LIKE the play! Everyone looking at the G-Men based on what they saw Monday Night.... this may be the biggest TRAP play of this weekend!! This will be a hard fought defensive game between hated rivals, and the G-Men are known for racking up 100's of yards with little to no points to show for their efforts! Take away those 4 fluke run-backs by Seattle for TD's, and you have a game that could have ended 14-7, 14-10! Giving Philly 8-10 points at home, after being humiliated on Monday Night Football, may not be in the best interest for your bankroll. The Defense WILL come to play, and every point will be a struggle. This game is to play Philly +points or nothing. I would NOT play the NYG on Sunday!
