  • Spirit Tues NHL Play

    Nice 9-0 24 unit night in actual betting. I am as streaky as they come. however, I am on the right side most of the time. Tonight is no squeeker- Should note to jump on this early as the public is on it.

    1)Carolina Hurricanes vs. Anaheim Mighty Ducks Under 6 - Money Maker(-125)

    2) Anaheim-

    Why Anaheim

    Play On - Any team (ANAHEIM) - after allowing 2 goals or less in 4 straight games against opponent after allowing 5 goals or more 2 straight games.
    (22-7 since 1996.) (75.9%, +15.7 units. Rating = 2*)
    Play Against - Road teams against the puck line (CAROLINA) - cold team - having lost 6 or 7 of their last 8 games, playing with 2 days rest.

    (Rookie goaltender Ilya Bryzgalov has made the most of his recent opportunity for the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim.
    Bryzgalov tries to maintain his stellar performance as the Mighty Ducks look to wrap the first 5-0 homestand in franchise history Tuesday against the Carolina Hurricanes.

    Filling in for former Conn Smythe Trophy winner Jean-Sebastien Giguere, who was out with a strained hamstring, Bryzgalov is 5-1-0 with a 1.30 goals-against average in his last six starts, allowing just one goal in each of the five victories.
    Andy McDonald extended his points streak to a career-high seven games with a third-period goal and Joffrey Lupul added his 11th to lead Anaheim to a Saturday's 2-1 triumph over the Atlanta Thrashers.

    After starting the season, 14-3-1, Carolina has struggled lately, losing six of eight games, including two of three on its current six-game road trip.

    Why the Under:

            Alert= Please read.
            There is more info on the game with Anaheim and Carolina.
            This is game 4 of a 6 game road trip for the Canes. The Mighty Ducks have taken the last 4 meetings between them. The catch is, Gerber (now the Canes goalie), was in nets for the Ducks in 3 of those 4 wins... including a shutout win! Gerber is in net for Carolina tonight, while Bryzgalov's is in for Anaheim. This may not mean much- but I believe in fate. I don't want to pick up tomorrows paper and read how this ex-duck shut down the ducks.

            I like winners and this smells awfully close game with luck ruling. I still believe Anaheim may cover but the under sounds even better. Strike Anaheim if you have not played it. I would rather negate a play if there are inside angles than have someone follow that loses. Under fellows
