TMac- You are known for teasers- heres an option to your play. Pitt+2 and Under whatever. I don't have the lines but as defensive a game is as this -why tempt fate- Pitt could win by a field goal - which is not that ludicrous of a thought- given many defensive games are decided by 3 points. Bears defense is for real- even if their offense is paltry. Grossman could come out of the woodwork and kill this bet- Yes Big Ben Is due. But Pitt is cold and Bears are hot. Expect gimpy Ben to go to the sidelines often and hopefully not being carried out because he wasn't mobile enuff. Expect the unexpectable this weekend- It has been way too predictable for squares and barroom fellas. I think dogs rule this weekend. Here in Jax - many are waiting for Indy- I can root for Jax but we will not win this game. We have alot of pride- but we are nowhere near the caliber of team- Indy is. I believe they will have our QB running for his life. Good Luck

TMAC, I would highly recommend this as well. First of all good luck...but according to my numbers, and I know this is a shocker, I have Bears as FAV by 1 point...every category I look at virtually has this game even, until I get to the DEFENSE. The Bears are unbelievable...just look at points against, and yes their pts FOR are not impressive, but most know that defense wins games. Bears know this, know their weakness (offense) and I see them trying to play a field position, grind the clock game out and hope that a FG here, a possible Def or ST TD there and magically at the end of 60 min game, they are celebrating...for your sakes I hope not but just throwing it out. I'm sure you are well aware of this possibility. The Bears certainly are not lacking in confidence, are playing for HOME field in playoffs, looking to further gain respect, so their motivation will certainly be at a peak.

If Pitt wasn't in such a slide, I'd have a lot more confidence in a cover/win...but, w/ that type of D, a potential or high probability of your savior and only hope, Ben getting knocked out of game (hand, knee, head), no real running game to date and a backup who has shown no life...that's a tough gamble there. At least the Bears in worse case offensively could bring in Rex as a spark and most likely huge improvement given he'd have no pressure w/ how the Orton has been of late.

Anyway, just some scenarios I see happening, POTENTIALLY and the fact that I see a bad Vegas line in place based on the numbers I run.

As soon as they lost to Cincy i waited on this line to come out in hopes that it would be about where it is right now.. In a way im glad the team that I am betting on is in a slump and is going to be playing at home.. Chicago Bears have been living off of their Defense and IMO this Sunday they will die by it.. Pitt has lost 3 straight games and I feel that they will come out after being booed by their own home crowd yesterday against Cincy all fired up and Big Ben will come out on a mission as they need to win these critical games to make it into the Wild Card Chase.. SO here it is folks.. TMAC's 2005 NFL GAME OF THE YEAR!!!
