That is a good question will he retire or come back? He's been talking about retiring for the last 2 or 3 years.

If Green Bay doesn't make some moves this off season to improve their team, I think Farve retires.

Why Is It So Difficult For A Star Athlete To Call It Quits, Retire??????????? Why Is It That The Public Is Left With A Yr Or Two Of Bad Declining Performance, It Makes One Appreciate The Star That Recognizes His Time Has Come And Goes At The Right Time....................

What aer you talking about? Who does Favre have? Donald Driver is his number one WR and GADO??? Let alone the "defense" cant do a damn thing... Favre always has to play catch up. He is still a good QB, Mike Sherman is an idiot and they need to rebuild... but I dont think Favre is to blame just becuz he cant cover the spread for you..

has nothing to do with the spread. i had the choice of three diff defenses to start in my fantasy league this week but i started chi, because favre is good for an int-td almost every game this year, guess what, i was right on!! he was a GREAT player, but now, he's making poor decisions, forcing the ball, throwing it up for grabs and then everyone defends him..... i understand their lack of talent, but he's not helping the situation. it's time to go

                            what are you watching?

Yes, Favre has had a tough year, but since all the injuries early on, he's playing with a bunch of nfl-europe players. In spite of that, they've been in nearly every game and had chances to win many of them. Is he declining? I don't think you can truly measure that with what he's playing with.

Be careful what you wish for!! If he retires and they turn it over to Rodgers, they're 4-12 for two or three years. I truly believe if they make some good off season decisions and get him some help, the defense is coming together, and with a few good draft picks, in this day and age of parity, they can be a playoff caliber team as soon as next season.
With all of that being said, I still love to watch the guy play. He has FUN out there, and I admire that. I'm pretty sure still if you asked league GM's their opinion, it would be a shock to you that he's still highly regarded.
WAKE UP!! You'll be the same guy bitching about Rodgers in a year or two saying I wish Favre was still around.

If they bench Favre and play Rogers there will be a riot in Green Bay. His passes are absolutely miserable but they can't sit him on the bench. He restored glory to a town that was down for a long time and the people of Green Bay won't have their star general sitting on the bench. Even after this season the fans will still want him to play next year. I'm a faithful Packers' fan and watch them every week, some of his passes are terrible and I don't want him on the bench.
