I don't care how good of a handicapper I appear to be, there is too much good stuff going on this sunday that I need to post some opinions. I guess this is more for me to get it down "on paper" and see how it comes out, but the more info on this board the better, right?

straight:
Packers +6 -- Great spot for the pack to put a scare into the bears and possibly come up with the upset. Favre has had very good success in chicago and the guy has too much pride to give a poor effort today.
Vikes -2.5 Yea this may be a homer pick, but have you noticed how many people are buying into the trap line theory blindly here? Have you seen the Lions lately? They're not that good, and got smoke by a not-so-good falcons team (IMO) at home last week. THe vikes, IMO, seem to be flying under the radar here and will win this game.
Bengals +3 -- I refuse to play the pitt based on their performance last year or the due theory. When it comes down to it, the steelers are not playing that well right now, and the Bengals are playing with a lot of confidence and enthusiasm (now if chad johnson would just tone down his act). THe Bengals expect to win this game, and so do I.
Panthers -3 -- I love all the talk of Vick's 5-0 record against the Panthers, and also the panther's struggles recently. Vick's record will be 5-1 after today, because I believe he is not playing the way he was a few years ago. It seems obvious to me he takes things the media says too personal and is trying to "show" everyone how awesome he is. The truth is Mike, you're an average pocket passer who can run like the dickens, and the more you try and make yourself into someone else, the less successful you will be. THe panthers defense will step up in this game, forcing vick into mistakes, and carolina will come out with a narrow victory.
Tampa Bay (on the buy) -3 -- TB will come out fired up this week, no doubt about it. THere's not much more to say, I think TB is a hell of a lot better than NO, and since their is no let-down factor here I think it will be at least a comfortable 7 point win.
There's my thoughts for the day, mind you I am not playing all these games, just throwing them out and seeing what others think, feedback is great!
