Top Totals Plays : None … nothing extremely strong … I'm sorry … I know they've been huge for us and we look forward to them but I absolutely will NEVER give you anything that's just not there.
There are a few which came fairly close:
Cincinnati / Pittsburgh Over … but check the weather and use judgment.
Jacksonville / Cleveland Under
NY Jets / NE Patriots Under

Money Line Side Plays : In order of strength are the following:
Dallas over The NY Giants The Top Money Line Play This Week
Next in strength is Green Bay over Chicago … Chicago will struggle in this spot against The Packers and I won't be surprised with a SU Win … All systems are a go for GB and a go - against for The Bears.
I will also be playing the following teams as Top ATS Plays and lesser wagers Straight Up on the Money Line.
Buffalo + at Miami … History reveals that in this situation, Miami has been dreadful. How bad is dreadful ? Try 5-56 ATS.
Cleveland over Jacksonville … the more inclement the weather , the better Cleveland's chances become. And be sure to check the total for this game … if the O/U moves to 32 ½ ( IT HAS !!! ) , The Browns enter into a nice 24-0 ATS league situation
Houston over Baltimore … ( Hey CB have you been snorting too much AFRIN ? ) I just think this game is right for The Texans to start covering and as a hunch I'm playing them to win the whole game. Last Sunday they played a decently for 59:30 … then the horror show. I did see some good things about them. I know hunches without evidence can be expensive ( at least they are for me ) and I have no one - sided hard evidence to support my claim , but I've had this lingering feeling all week about them , just like I knew Miami would play their asses off last week at Oakland … So there are no misunderstandings , I liked Miami last week much more than I like Houston today. Miami had historical backing to support my claim of last week . But it's definitely worth a shot and I've made my play.
Top Side Play Only ( not for Money Line Play )
Tampa Bay - at New Orleans … Off a loss as a favorite , Tampa comes back angry . Compound that with the talent mismatch and the fact that Aaron Brooks will have a difficult time dealing with all the looks he'll get thrown at him. Once confused , the rout will be on. I'm looking for Tampa to Pick 6 Brooks at least once. And that's my spin on this game.
I laid the 3 with Tampa earlier this week with both fists.
Here's the fly in the ointment . I know this game is as "square" as it gets . I usually fade or pass the obvious, but in this case ,unless something radical happens ( like me getting a +5 for a Middle or Side Opportunity ) I'm standing pat , having laid a good number.
Opinions:
Washington - at St. Louis … 2 teams with identical records with the Skins coming off THREE Straight SU and ATS losses and The Rams off of a dramatic come - from- behind victory . So why then is Washington favored, on the road ? QB Ryan Fitzpatrick was thrown in there last week and showed something vs. Houston , but now he's had a week to think . He will be nervous ( or at least , as nervous as anyone from Harvard can possibly be )and The Skins will know it and capitalize. Go Skins !!! ( Also, a Lean to Under )
Detroit + at home vs. Minnesota … worth a nibble … nothing more. This is solely based on Great tendencies for Detroit in this spot ( 3 ,totaling 68-17 ATS ) and Minny is 0-10 in this situation, but there's just too much turmoil with The Lions for anything stronger and Minnesota has rallied around Brad Johnson. AND I refuse to get Millened.
