I like Texas in a 42-38 shootout.. My resons are:

#1. If you compare the D's with each them there is no comparsion.. Texas hands down

#2. IF weak ass Fresno St. can throw 40 on the trojans what makes ya think that the #1 Offense in the country cant do the same??

#3. Last year Chokelahoma was the fav and everybody said oklahoma this and that and we all see what happened.. This year everybody and i mean everybody is on USC Bandwagon and I just see this so called Dynasty coming to an end at the Rose Bowl and Vince Young and company hoisting the trophy as the new National Champions of College Football..

My initial gut reaction only would be to take USC because it seems to me that over the years many good Texas teams(probably not as good as this one though) have flopped big time in bowl games.

I'm taking USC and think the line will be 7.5 at the least by game time.

I think the line is higher than one might think simply because there are two very explosive offenses here, and the thinking is perhaps that this will not be a field goal type of game, and that perhaps whoever wins will probably win by a touchdown or more. jmho

USC will score, but I LOVE Texas, game and ML. RJ, surprised you like USC so much! If JohnnyQ loads up on Texas and the line moves down, I'll switch. ****** is regularly wrong on Title games.

The Trojan D is not as bad as everyone thinks. Yes Fresno did very well on them but look at what they did to a very good UCLA Offense. Shut them down. I fell for the Oklahoma BS last year. When USC and Caroll has time to prepare.....LOOK OUT!
