For the second time this season I placed a 3*** bet on the 76ers and for the second time they choke on me. Clearly Webber and Iverson doesn't make a team and their other 3 starters are not up with the best in the league. Their lack of depth was exposed to the league last night. On the upside, my hunch with Miami proved right so I broke even for the night. Here are my tips for tonight :

Chicago +4.5 over Detroit
The Bulls have been finding their feet after a sluggish start to the season and come off a big win against the Celtics. The Pistons have been great on the road, and despite a fantastic record at the United Center since MJ left, Ive got a strong feeling that the Bulls will be super competitive and possibly win this outright. Lay the points here.

Houston -4.5 over Memphis
The Grizzlies come to Houston after a massive road victory against the Magic but come on folks. Orlando doesn't have a 7 foot 6 inch tower standing in the paint nor do they have a player capable of scoring 50 points in a game. And thats what they run into tonight. A hungry and rested Rockets team looking to get back on track at home. Most importantly, T Mac is fit after suffering back spasms which spells big danger for the Grizzlies who do not have a transition defender who can match McGrady for skill or pace. The Rockets easily here.
