I'm off to an 0-1 start on the weekend with a bad pick Thur on Northern Illinois. Just two college plays on Saturday but I'm posting two of my NFL plays now because I expect the lines to move against me.
1* Georgia +2
I'm simply going with the team I think is the best in the SEC. One of Georgia's two losses was when star QB Shockley was out vs Florida and the other was in his first game back from the injury. The other nine games werre all wins and all convincing. I have nothing against LSU but will point out their win against Alabama was when the Tide was banged up and their two point win at home LW vs Arkansas wasn't impressive.
1* South Florida +10
(Shop around for the 10. Buy up if necessary.) Weird game as West Virginia has sewn up the Big East title and a BCS bowl. South Florida is itself already bowl eligible but probably needs to get a to insure a bid. South Florida may let down after losing LW to UConn as this game would have been for the BCS bid had they won. But WVirg is equally without motivation. South Florida is 4-0 at home at beat Louisville by 31 while WVirg beat Louisville by only 2.
