  • Spear-it NBA Tues Tease

Congrats to me- I have a new-born in the house- Not mine but my wifes daughter. Cigars to all. Sorry about the Indy and Over 41 play last night- I didn't see Pitt so helpless all game or Indy playing not to score in the majority ( except 3 minutes) of the second half. ( I knew when Peyton was talking to Harrison - it was over.:angryfire

Taking a two team teaser tonight.

Minnesota Timberwolves +1½ (got this play from Nalordo)
    Tue@8:05p
    (Teased 5.0 points)

Los Angeles Lakers vs. San Antonio Spurs Under 193
    Tue@8:35p
    (Teased 5.0 points)

San Antonio is about defense at home.

Just to re-air my post concerning our true love for winning on this site and the desire to make all feel at home.

My oh my- what a tangled web we weave.
Hear this loud and clear to all. B/C is about winning.
Any capper who wishes to help others win- have at it.
It is not easy to cap 8 games and win. Kudos to Stick with Me and other new cappers - Nalordo-Bill Mill- Jackal and goodboy and several others who have entered and given many a chance to pad their accounts.
Also hear- that there is no main clique on this site- older members who have been around and know each other -yes.No intention but to calm those who can not support their claim upon this or another site. Therefore, it is with the highest regard for those who can produce their winning ways and take pride that it is for anyone to view.

I believe each member supports any winner- beit -they do not insult the integrity of the site by claims. This comes from many before who either turned service or plummeted with many loyal followers dangling their underwear in the wind as a surrender.

Personally- I have gone to the best-- no-hype -no record- just my best opinion status. Believe me - when you are near the top of capping even for one day- it can feel supreme and yet you need to perform to stay at a high level. So express an attitude of good fortune and understand the next time around - many may go down. Look in on Bi-g Al Mc--mor--dies site -See his 1-7 day for Saturday and the entire site of cappers who messed up big last night.

There is a sibling rilvary on practically all sites that I have seen. If you go about your picks and why you liked them - you will stay honored- even if ya lose. Try taking your ball to another site and it creates nothing but an immature impression upon all of us.
Nice work- Stick With Me- Now Stick With Us as many have now seen your one day skills. Wouldn't make much sense to put up a name of Stick With Me- if you didn't last the week- forget just three days. If you feel otherwise - Thanx for the memory.

San Antonio is 2-4 O/U at home and Lakers are 1-4 O/U away. Public has pushed the total from 185 to 188 Add 5 - Now at 193. Under appears to be the right call.

MINNEAPOLIS (Ticker) - Sam Cassell faces off against his former team once again when the surprising Los Angeles Clippers visit the Minnesota Timberwolves at Target Center on Tuesday.

A key member of the Minnesota squad that reached the Western Conference finals in 2004, Cassell was dealt to the Clippers in the offseason after a contract dispute with the Timberwolves' front office.

Cassell has been instrumental in leading Los Angeles to a first-place start over the first four weeks of the season. The veteran guard is averaging 15.9 points and 7.3 assists over his first 13 games.

Cassell will need to deliver a big performance against his former club if the Clippers want to snap their seven-game skid at Target Center. Los Angeles has dropped two in a row and has not won here since a 108-99 victory on March 11, 2002.

After posting a thrilling 100-99 triumph over the Timberwolves at Staples Center on November 5, the Clippers dropped a 93-78 decision here two days later. Cassell struggled in the home-and-home series, averaging just 11.5 points while shooting 28 percent (8-for-29) from the floor.

Minnesota has played well recently, winning four of its last five games.

The Timberwolves won their second in a row with an 89-85 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Saturday.

Kevin Garnett scored 26 points and grabbed 11 rebounds while Troy Hudson added 18 points off the bench for Minnesota, which rallied from a late deficit in the contest.

Stat I didn't care to see---LA CLIPPERS are 11-2 ATS (+8.8 Units) revenging a road loss vs opponent of 10 points or more over the last 2 seasons.
The average score was LA CLIPPERS 95.5, OPPONENT 94.2 - (Rating = 1*)
